Webinar gets executives up to speed on secure digital infrastructure

Zurich - Switzerland Global Enterprise and the Alpine Tech Forum are hosting a webinar on digital independence on 18 November. It is primarily aimed at executives of foreign companies in Europe and the US who want to benefit from Switzerland's digital ecosystem.

(CONNECT) The next strategic advantage lies in a digital infrastructure that guarantees sovereignty. This is the topic of a webinar being offered on 18 November by the Alpine Tech Forum in collaboration with Switzerland Global Enterprise, which promotes Swiss foreign trade. The event’s partners are Home of Blockchain.swiss, a blockchain promotion association, and Alp ICT, the digital cluster of western Switzerland.

In this webinar aimed at executives, participants will explore how global companies can use digital sovereignty to future-proof their business operations and drive innovation, according to a statement. The young and rapidly growing biotech company Cradle, which is headquartered in Amsterdam with a branch in Zurich, will report on how it uses artificial intelligence and the Swiss ecosystem to develop therapeutics and diagnostics.

Participants will also learn how QuantumBasel, Switzerland's first commercial quantum hub, enables secure, scalable innovation through next-generation quantum computing. In addition, Apertus, Switzerland's first large language model, will be presented.

Among the speakers are Alexander E. Brunner, President of Home of Blockchain.swiss and the Alpine Tech Forum; Damir Bogdan, Founder and Chief Strategy & Alliance Officer of QuantumBasel and Founder and CEO of Actvide; Stef van Grieken, Co-founder and CEO of Cradle; and Martin Jaggi, Associate Professor at the Laboratory of Machine Learning and Optimization at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne.

After the webinar, participants will be the first to gain access to four new podcast interviews with leading technology experts as well as the fourth ecosystem report from Home of Blockchain.swiss on the latest trends in the Swiss tokenization landscape. ce/mm
