HSG master’s program again voted as the world’s best
St.Gallen/London - The University of St.Gallen (HSG) has claimed top spot in the global rankings of the “Financial Times” for the 14th time with its Master in Strategy and International Management program. ZHAW and HEC Lausanne are also included in the list of the world’s top 100 business schools.
(CONNECT) The University of St.Gallen has once again fared well with its Master in Strategy in International Management (SIM-HSG) course in the Masters in Management Ranking 2025 compiled by the “Financial Times”, the London-based business newspaper. As was the case in 2024, the master’s program offered by HSG claimed top spot globally, as detailed in a press release issued by the university. Again in a repeat of 2024, the top three for 2025 was rounded off by HEC Paris and the Fountainebleau-based institute INSEAD.
Since the rankings were first published, the HSG master’s program has been voted in first place on 14 separate occasions. In this year’s edition of the 100 best business schools around the world, Switzerland is also represented by the Winterthur-based ZHAW School of Management and Law in 58th place and HEC Lausanne in 75th place. However, both universities have fallen in the rankings versus the previous year.
The experts from the Financial Times compile these annual rankings on the basis of surveys of business schools and their graduates. The evaluation takes into account criteria such as career opportunities and graduate salaries, international mobility and the quality of teaching. “The Financial Times Masters in Management ranking has long been a respected voice looking at academic excellence worldwide”, HSG explains.
“Our SIM program enables students to become globally minded, responsible business leaders and supports them in their journey towards a purposeful career”, as the new SIM-HSG Managing Director Dr Joachim Stonig explains in the press release. ce/hs
