Ernst Sutter receives 18 gold medals

Gossau SG – The meat producer Ernst Sutter AG has received 18 gold medals from the German Agricultural Society (DLG) in recognition of its products. Among these, the St. Gallen bratwurst has received its tenth gold award.

This year, the German Agricultural Society (DLG) has once again presented submitted foods with its gold and silver awards. Ernst Sutter AG, based in the St.GallenBodenseeArea, was able to take home 18 gold medals and three silver medals according to a press release. The quality assessments evaluate color, appearance, consistency, smell, and taste, among other things; however, preparation, packaging and labeling are also relevant. Chemical testing is also carried out.

One of the products from Ernst Sutter that has been awarded a gold medal is the St. Gallen Bratwurst, with this being the tenth time it has been awarded gold by the DLG. Ernst Sutter AG has additionally been recognized for the ninth time in a row for its “long-standing product quality.” For this, three or more products must receive awards for at least five consecutive participating years.
