Bartholet brings its RopeTaxi to the Gulf
Dubai/Flums SG - Bartholet sees great potential for its RopeTaxis at the Gulf. The cableway constructor has just concluded an agreement with Dynamic Heliports, which will market Bartholet’s RopeTaxis as well as their lighting systems in the Emirates.
Bartholet has found a sales partner for its new RopeTaxi solution in the United Arab Emirates. The cableway constructor headquartered in the St.GallenBodenseeArea concluded a corresponding agreement with Dynamic Heliports on Monday within the context of the Airport Show Dubai. The Dubai-based company provides services relating to heliports in the Emirates. Dynamic Heliports will sell Bartholet’s RopeTaxis as well as their lowerable standing lights for airports.
With its RopeTaxis, Bartholet has developed an automated cableway, in which all cabins have their own drive system. Additionally, the destination can be individually selected before entry according to a description by Bartholet. Bartholet’s new drive technology enables the kinetic energy produced as the vehicle slows and enters the station to be converted into electric energy and stored.
The manufacturer anticipates that the RopeTaxi solution can also be used for urban mobility. René Vuillemin, HighLights Vice President at Bartholet, is quoted in the press release saying: “Today we are already represented at many airports in the Gulf region with our standing lights. We now also see great potential for our RopeTaxis in this area. They can become part of developing urban mobility.”
