New production hall under construction at Herzog Küchen
Unterhörstetten - The kitchen manufacturer Herzog has now laid the foundation stone for a new production hall. The company sees this construction project as a contribution to the positive development of the local labor market and as a commitment to the canton of Thurgau itself.
At its location in Unterhörstetten in the canton of Thurgau, Herzog Küchen AG is building another production hall. As the real estate firm HRS has announced, the foundation stone for this construction project has now been laid. With this two-story building covering around 3,500 square meters, Herzog Küchen is seeking both to satisfy growing customer demand and to get a handle on future challenges, further details of which can be found in a previous press release covering the construction plans.
With the installation of modern machinery, it will be possible to optimize many production processes, as Marc Herzog, Managing Director, explains in the press release. This means that customer requests with an even greater degree of customization can be realized. Owing to the new machinery, bespoke kitchen designs can also be manufactured in an automated and precise manner, while at the same time ensuring an even higher quality finish as well.
The extended building is supplemented by a wood-clad front building in which training rooms, offices and a lounge for employees will be housed. Operations at the new building are set to commence in the first quarter of 2024. With the new building, Herzog Küchen AG is seeking to play its part in the positive development of the labor market across the region, while the company also views the plans as an expression of its commitment to the canton of Thurgau as a business location. eb
