Debrunner Koenig subsidiary wins award
St.Gallen – Metall Service Menziken AG has been named Global Supplier of the Year by Elma Electronic AG. The company, which belongs to the Debrunner Koenig Group, produces aluminum sheet metal and cut-to-size pieces.
Founded in 1995, Metall Service Menziken AG produces products and solutions made of aluminum, stainless steel, copper, brass, bronze and steel slit strips. It has belonged to the Debrunner Koenig Group since 2005, which is based in the St.GallenBodenseeArea.
Metall Service Menziken has now been named Global Supplier of the Year by Elma Electronic AG, which is located in Wetzikon in the canton of Zurich. Metall Service Menziken supplies Elma Electronic with aluminum sheet metal and cut-to-size pieces.
“Metall Service Menziken is always keen to find a solution with us,” Thomas Wismer, Director of Supply Chain at Elma Electronic AG, said in a press release.
According to Darko Karadacki, Key Account Manager at Metall Service Menziken, Elma Electronic’s high standards of quality for the perfect surface are a challenge but one that his company has successfully mastered.
“The Supplier of the Year award is a motivating sign in what is currently a difficult global situation. We are doing everything we can to continue to offer a service that inspires,” Karadacki said.
The Debrunner Koenig Group was founded in 1988. It is made up of Debrunner Acifer, a regionally based retailer of warehouse materials, and Metall Service Menziken, a “flexible service center serving the national aluminum and metal market.”
