StarragTornos increases order backlog

Rorschacherberg - StarragTornos has reported a +3.2 percent increase in the order backlog situation for financial year 2025 as well as strong growth in the aerospace sector. There was, however, a decline in the luxury good segment, while net sales were also down.

(CONNECT) The StarragTornos Group from Rorschacherberg in the Swiss canton of St.Gallen has presented its initial financial figures for 2025 in a recently published statement. The Group has managed to increase its order backlog by +3.2 percent year on year despite the challenging economic environment. This is reportedly down to the sharp rise in orders in the aerospace sector. However, the luxury goods segment suffered a significant decline in demand. While net sales fell by -10.5 percent from 491.1 million to 442.1 million Swiss francs, the Group nevertheless anticipates a positive result for the financial year 2025.

In 2025, StarragTornos secured several major new orders in the aerospace sector, both in the defense and commercial sectors. The industrial segment also remained stable. According to the preliminary figures, the order intake situation at Group level amounted to 472.8 million Swiss francs in 2025, reflecting a reduction of -0.7 percent compared with 2024. However, the order backlog increased by +3.2 percent to 336.4 million Swiss francs. In addition to the decline in revenue, restructuring costs will further impact the Group’s annual results.

StarragTornos is set to publish its detailed business figures for 2025 on March 16, 2026.
