Starrag to present manufacturing solutions for the aerospace industry

Rorschacherberg/Paris - At the Paris Air Show from June 16 to 22, 2025, Starrag will be showcasing its comprehensive technologies for the production and processing of structural components made from aluminum and titanium. The mechanical engineering firm has now bundled its expertise in this area in its Aerospace and Turbine Competence Center.

(CONNECTStarrag will be presenting its precision milling machines for aerospace industry and turbines at the 55th International Paris Air Show from June 16 to 22, 2025, as part of the SWISS Pavilion. The mechanical engineering firm from the canton of St.Gallen has now brought together its competencies in this field at the Aerospace and Turbine Competence Center.

Here, Starrag focuses on manufacturing technologies for six component groups: blisks, turbine blades, impellers, turbine casings, and titanium and aluminum structural components. Starrag continuously develops and optimizes manufacturing solutions for these. “The Aerospace and Turbines Competence Center at Starrag’s headquarters in Rorschacherberg offers one of the world’s most comprehensive machining solutions for aerospace”, as Michael Schedler, Head of Marketing, underlines.

Starrag has been developing machining tools in Rorschacherberg since the early 20th century. Right from the very beginning, the aviation industry has been one of its core markets. Therefore, the company saw it as a logical step to establish the Starrag Aerospace Competence Center at this site around one and a half years ago. After all, “over the years, we have built up a vast and diverse knowledge – not just of our own machines, but of the entire manufacturing process for components that are often used in the aerospace industry”, as Managing Director Dr. Bernhard Bringmann states.

Starrag AG offers a comprehensive range of technologically advanced precision milling machines, software packages, engineering and process optimization solutions, in addition to a wide range of specialty tools. The company supplies customers operating in the aerospace, power generation, transportation, and precision engineering sectors around the world. ce/mm
