People’s resumes flights to Vienna

Altenrhein SG – The airline People’s is offering flights between Altenrhein and Vienna once more from April 12. This aims to highlight the importance of the economic region of Eastern Switzerland.

From April 12, passengers will be able to fly between Altenrhein and Vienna again according to a press release from the airline People’s, which is offering four flights each way per week. On Mondays and Tuesdays flights leave Altenrhein at 7:00 am and on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 5:40 pm. The flight takes one hour. Journeys in the other direction start at 8:35 am on Mondays and Tuesdays and at 7:15 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Thomas Krutzler, CEO of People’s Air Group, is quoted in the press release, saying: “The offer of scheduled flights to and from Vienna is of vital importance to us as an airline but also as an airport, both economically and also emotionally. Furthermore, we are convinced that by resuming operation, we are attributing significant value to the economic area of Vorarlberg/Rhine Valley/Eastern Switzerland, and we are confident that demand for flights will emphasize this.”

In order to ensure the safety of passengers and employees there are protective measures both onboard and at St.Gallen-Altenrhein airport. As these measures are being adapted continuously, the People’s Air Group asks its passenger to seek out information about the current situation.
