Militzer & Münch establishes company for automotive logistics
St.Gallen/Stuttgart - The logistics firm Militzer & Münch will in future be offering services specially tailored to the automotive sector. To this end, the company has founded a joint venture with Uwe Moser, an expert who specializes in this area. Its headquarters will be located at Stuttgart airport.
Militzer & Münch has founded a joint venture in conjunction with the automotive logistics expert Uwe Moser, further details of which can be found in a press release. M&M Premium Car Logistics GmbH is set to commence operations on November 1. As the St.Gallen-based firm has now announced, the new joint venture’s core activities will include air, sea and rail freight transportation, in addition to handling all associated customs clearance processes. The primary aim is to offer transportation services to both businesses and private customers in connection with rare or unique vehicles such as prototypes, vintage automobiles and racing cars. The target markets for these transportation activities include the USA, China, South Korea, Japan and South Africa, as the press release explains. The new company’s headquarters will be located at Stuttgart airport, with this decision being made on account of the German city’s “excellent international and regional connections”, according to the press release.
“Our target customers include major car manufacturers, but also suppliers to the automotive industry as well as small, exclusive dealers and private collectors of classic cars”, comments Holger Seehusen, Managing Director of M&M Militzer & Münch Deutsche Holding GmbH, in the press release. ce/ww
