Militzer & Münch expanding to Austria
St.Gallen – The logistics firm Militzer & Münch has established a branch in Austria. Markets in Central and Eastern Europe will be served from the company’s Vienna base.
Militzer & Münch has expanded its network with the addition of “another important hub right in the heart of Europe”, as detailed in a press release issued by the logistics firm based in the St.GallenBodenseeArea. Employees in Vienna will now be active in operational areas in addition to sales. Their focus will be on core markets for Militzer & Münch. These include Central Asia, the Caucasus, Russia and the Maghreb region of north-west Africa. Logistics services will be offered to these markets, while rail transportation services are to be expanded in the East.
“For the time being, the new location will be operated as a foreign branch of M&M Militzer & Münch AG, Switzerland, although we will be seeking to establish our own national subsidiary in Vienna at a later date”, explains Nikolaus Kohler, Regional Managing Director Middle East / Central Asia, Business Development Switzerland at Militzer & Münch Holding AG, in the press release. The branch is to be headed up by Nikolay Gueorguiev.
