Degersheim - The LO Metrix shelving system developed by Lista Office LO has been named as the winner of a Red Dot Design Award 2025. This accolade for the furniture system, which can be used in both office and home settings, has been awarded in the Office Design and Equipment category.
(CONNECT) The LO Metrix shelving system from Lista Office LO, a provider of pioneering office interior solutions based in the canton of St.Gallen, has been awarded a Red Dot Design Award this year in the category of Office Design and Equipment. As detailed in a press release, the furniture system, which is actually suitable for use in the office and at home, was chosen as the winner by an independent jury comprising 43 people, including designers, scientists and journalists.
On account of standardized and patented connecting elements, the LO Metrix can be used in a multitude of combinations flexibly adapted to individual requirements and room layouts. The sturdy base frame is made of coated steel, while the doors, shelves and side panels are available in synthetic resin, Fenix and real wood. The back and side panels offer numerous storage options, as well as the possibility of visual and soundproofing for interior design. Smooth-running casters ensure that the drawer units can be moved easily, while six manual and electronic locking systems guarantee the secure storage of files and data.
“LO Metrix is our ‘Best of’ in our storage portfolio, with essentially unlimited usage and layout options”, as Remo Wüthrich, Product Manager at Lista Office LO, explains in the press release. “We are proud that this high-quality design has been recognized by the Red Dot Design Award 2025. It’s very encouraging and will motivate us to keep focusing on top design quality in every last detail and thus create future-oriented products for the next generation”, he concludes.
The Red Dot Design Award, which was first presented in 1955, is an internationally renowned design prize. ce/ww
