I+D Campus in Kreuzlingen launches open network

Kreuzlingen - The I+D Campus, which opened in February 2026, is adding the I+D Community to its portfolio. This open network aims to bring together companies, organizations, and individuals in the Swiss canton of Thurgau who want to help actively shape innovation and digital transformation.

(CONNECT) The I+D Campus in Kreuzlingen in the Swiss canton of Thurgau has created a space for exchange, inspiration, and “tangible digitalization” known as Community. This open network, which is available now, is for companies, organizations, and individuals “who don’t want to wait for digital transformation to happen, but want to actively shape it”, reads a statement on the new offering.

Community members benefit from perks including access to the growing I+D network, free events, discounts on space rental, and a direct connection to research and professional practice. To celebrate the launch, the I+D Campus is offering special rates to the first 30 registrants. On 17 and 24 June, the campus will be open from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m., featuring guided tours, information on Community, and a raffle.

The I+D Campus opened on 18 February 2026. It offers companies, startups, and interested organizations across Thurgau access to applied research, innovation consulting, and modern coworking spaces. The campus was initiated and largely developed by the Thurgau Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Its director, Jérôme Müggler, chairs the new I+D Campus Foundation.

Its partners are the Thurgau Institute for Digital Transformation (TIDIT), Startnetzwerk Thurgau, the teacher education university Pädagogische Hochschule Thurgau, and the Thurgauer Technologieforum. The campus project was made possible thanks to seed funding from “TKB millions” derived from the initial public offering of the Thurgau Cantonal Bank. This funding supports 20 innovative, sustainable, and canton-wide projects, one of which is the I+D Campus. It is receiving seed funding of 20 million Swiss francs. Half of this amount will go to TIDIT. ce/mm
