HRS drives forward hotel project in Arbon

Frauenfeld/Arbon TG – Real estate service provider HRS has submitted a building application for a new hotel in Arbon. The new b_smart-Hotel will offer 63 rooms, a restaurant, a gym and meeting rooms.

HRS Real Estate AG from Frauenfeld plans to build a b_smart-Hotel on the SaurerWerk-Zwei site in Arbon, the real estate company has outlined in a press release. It has submitted a building application for the hotel and an adjacent building with 18 condominiums. The hotel will have 63 hotel rooms as well as a restaurant that seats 70, a gym and meeting rooms.

The project is creating new overnight accommodation to replace the former Hotel Metropol. Once Metropolis demolished, the Riva project can be realized. According to the press release, it was agreed during the round table that Riva “with restaurant, hall, bar, garden terrace and additional overnight accommodation was architecturally the right object in the right place”. HRS therefore intensified its work to drive forward the b_smart-Hotel. Originally, the company “had been of the opinion that the economically necessary and required conditions for a new hotel building would only be met once the Riva had been built”. Now, HRS is confidently going ahead with creating new overnight accommodation in Arbon.

For this, HRS is working together with the Liechtenstein-based company b_smart selection from Gamprin-Bendern, which operates 16 hotels and motels in Liechtenstein and Switzerland. It employs the “self-check-in concept”, allowing guests to book and check in at any time of day or night. Also involved in the hotel project as an investor is the Toni Hilti Family Trusteeship, so the Toni Hilti family in Liechtenstein.
