DeepCloud launches real-time digital signature verification service
Wittenbach - DeepCloud has launched DeepValidator, a technology that can verify digital signatures, seals, and signature authorizations in real-time. The signature validator complies with Swiss ZertES and EU eIDAS standards and is compatible with all conventional signature providers.
(CONNECT) Technology company DeepCloud, based in Wittenbach in the Swiss canton of St.Gallen, develops artificial intelligence (AI)-based software solutions for business process automation and digital collaboration. It has now launched the DeepValidator signature verification service, according to a statement. Unlike conventional solutions, DeepValidator not only checks the validity of digital signatures or seals, but also whether the signer is authorized to represent the company based on official data from the Swiss commercial register. This ensures that the signature is legally binding, eliminating the need for multiple separate solution systems, explains DeepCloud.
The DeepValidator service reportedly supports signatures and seals from providers that are qualified according to Swiss ZertES and EU eIDAS standards, making it suitable for integration into existing ERP systems, approval processes, or legal platforms.
An API for automated connection will be available shortly, according to the statement. “DeepValidator ensures that a document is not only signed, but signed by a person with the proper authority,” Andrea Bogoni, Chief Marketing Officer at DeepCloud, is quoted as saying. “This is particularly relevant for contracts, powers of attorney, and management-level decisions.”
To ensure privacy, documents are encrypted during transmission and automatically deleted after verification. DeepValidator runs exclusively on secure servers in Switzerland and complies with Swiss and EU data protection requirements, according to the company.
