Cicor to acquire the Spanish electronics manufacturer MADES
Bronschhofen/Málaga - The Cicor Group has announced the planned takeover of the Spanish electronics company MADES. With this acquisition, Cicor is seeking to bolster its presence in the European defense market. Both companies supply their solutions to companies active in the aerospace industry, among others.
(CONNECT) The Cicor Group from Bronschhofen in the canton of St.Gallen, Switzerland, has signed a full takeover deal for the Spanish electronics company MADES, further details of which can be found in a press release. Cicor is a global supplier of development and manufacturing services for high-end electronics that works with companies in the medical, industrial, aerospace and defense sectors. With the planned acquisition of MADES, Cicor is seeking to strengthen its presence in the European defense market. Furthermore, Cicor has set its sights on expanding the customer base, particularly in the area of mission-critical applications.
MADES is headquartered in the Spanish city of Málaga and focuses on electronics solutions for the aerospace and defense industries. Moreover, MADES supplies customers active in the fields of industrial and railway technology. The company employs around 100 staff and generated sales of just under 29 million euros in financial year 2024.
It is assumed that the transaction, which is expected to close in the second half of 2025, will be financed by existing credit lines available to the Cicor Group. ce/nta
