Cicor Gruppe reports increased order intake

Wil - In the first quarter of 2026, the Cicor Group in the canton of St. Gallen reported a significant increase in its order intake to 196.4 million Swiss francs and raised its net sales to 160.7 million francs during the same period. Growth was driven in particular by the Aerospace and Defense market.

(CONNECT) The Cicor Gruppe has reported strong order intake of 196.4 million francs for the first quarter of 2026. By comparison, this figure stood at 125.8 million francs in the first quarter of 2025.

The increased demand is driven in particular by business in the Aerospace and Defense market. In this segment, the Group was able to further strengthen its position by winning two new customers. This includes Cicor entering into a partnership with the Norwegian defense company Kongsberg. Additionally, Cicor France has established a new long-term partnership in the railway infrastructure market. Initial orders with these new customers are expected in 2026, with sales contributions starting in 2027.

In the first quarter of 2026, the Group’s net sales grew by 22.6 percent compared to the same period last year to 160.7 million francs. The merger and acquisition-driven growth of 33.4 percent was partially offset by an organic decline of 6 percent and negative foreign currency effects of 4.8 percent due to the continued strengthening of the Swiss franc.

For 2026 as a whole, the Group expects a return to organic growth, supported by a positive book-to-bill ratio (the ratio of order intake to revenue) of 1.22. Momentum is expected to build gradually, with the main contribution anticipated in the second half of the year, according to the company. Group revenue is forecast to be between 700 and 750 million francs, while adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) is expected to be in the range of 70 to 80 million francs.

The Cicor Group is a global provider of full-cycle electronic solutions from research and development to manufacturing and supply chain management. Approximately 4,400 employees across 13 countries serve customers in the medical, industrial, aviation, defense and aerospace sectors. ce/ja
