Cicor opens new production and central services plant in the SGBA
Cicor is leading and international micro-electronics industrial group which opened the new site for 200 people on November 28th. This is a furhter confirmation for the precision location St.GallenBodenseeArea.
President of the Board, Heinrich J. Essing, considers the investment as a clear commitment to Switzerland and the region as a business location. Cicor CEO Alexander Hagemann confirmed the importance of this Swiss location for the worldwide entities. “This is a clear step into a high-tech future of our company.”. Production and engineering are combined on almost 10’000m2. Beat Ulrich, Delegate of the SGBA, said in his opening speech that Cicors decision is an important signal for the St.GallenBodenseeArea. “This area is a clear leader in precision and ICT and offers a strong advantage for the digital transformation of industries.”
