Brauerei Locher now also making pizza
Appenzell - Brauerei Locher has again expanded its product portfolio. In addition to beer, vinegar and disinfectant, the brewery is now offering fish food and pizza.
Brauerei Locher offers an extensive range of different beers. This portfolio was created through the intensive examination of raw materials and resources, as detailed in a press release issued by the brewery based in the St.GallenBodenseeArea. This sustainable and considerate approach to using resources has led to the brewery adding further products to its range. In addition to chips, vinegar and disinfectant, pizza is now on the menu from Brauerei Locher.
In this regard, the brewery’s online shop offers a comprehensive range of Appenzell pizzas in various flavors. These are delivered as fresh products that can be kept for five days in a refrigerator, while they are also suitable for home freezing. It is not only Appenzell cheese that makes these pizzas special, as ingredients left over from the brewing process are also used to create these pizzas. “From yeast and wort to spent grains: Carefully collected and processed, all of these excellent ingredients can be transformed into wonderful new delicacies”, according to the brewery.
By offering these pizzas free from preservatives, the brewery is demonstrating its willingness to look beyond “the top of the beer glass”. This equally applies to another product from Brauerei Locher. In this case, the “high quality and nutrient-rich by-products” of the brewing process are also being used to manufacture fish food, which customers can use to rear their own whitefish.
