Bodensee Summit discusses Artificial Intelligence

Konstanz/Herisau - This year’s Bodensee Summit is dedicated to the theme of Artificial Intelligence. Switzerland will provide the scientific impetus in addition to arranging six interactive events. The summit will also be interlinked with the International Lake Constance Conference for heads of state and government taking place in Herisau.

The Bodensee Summit digital 2022 is set to take place on December 9, according to a press release issued by the Bodenseezentrum Innovation 4.0 (BZI 4.0) department based at HTWG Konstanz - University of Applied Sciences. It is hosting the annual digital innovation conference, which this year will focus on the main topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The event will aim to provide SMEs with practical examples of digital transformation and the introduction of AI, BZI 4.0 writes. The University of St.Gallen will provide the scientific impetus in this regard, while the Swiss side of Lake Constance (in German: Bodensee) is also contributing to the conference by organizing six interactive events.

For the first time, the Bodensee Summit digital will be interlinked with the International Lake Constance Conference (IBK), a summit for regional heads of government in the Lake Constance area taking place simultaneously in Herisau in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden. It is supporting the summit as part of its digitization initiative. These regional heads of government from parts of Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland are set to gather in Herisau with the intention of contributing to the Bodensee Summit digital 2022 with presentations outlining framework conditions for digital innovation in their countries.

The full conference program can be viewed on the Bodensee Summit digital portal, where the event organizers have also provided a free registration link. Once registered, users can view the profiles of other participants, make contacts and set up virtual meetings.
