Baumer cameras can see even more
Frauenfeld – Sensor manufacturer Baumer has developed four new camera models. They support inspection tasks with reliable detection of even the minutest details and very high resolution.
Baumer is expanding its portfolio of 10 GigE cameras of the LX series with four new models, as the sensor manufacturer from the St.GallenBodenseeArea reported in a press release. The cameras are equipped with 24 MP Sony Pregius S and 65 MP Gpixel sensors, which offer a resolution of 24 or 65 megapixels.
As the cameras were developed for applications with very high resolution and image quality demands, they are suited to tasks such as the inspection of printed circuit boards, displays and semiconductors. They reliably detect even the minutest details and deviations. Due to the very high resolution, the new cameras mean only half the usual number of cameras will be required for many applications. This reduces system and integration costs while enhancing reliability. The new products are also well-suited for difficult ambient conditions with a temperature range of -30 °C to 60 °C.
