Akris opens new boutique in Cannes
St.Gallen – The fashion house Akris opened its latest boutique in Cannes on Boulevard de la Croisette. Akris creative director Albert Kriemler designed an exclusive bag to celebrate the opening.
The fashion house from the St.GallenBodenseeArea is offering its latest fashion and accessories collections in its new boutique in Cannes. In celebration of the opening, Akris creative director Albert Kriemler designed an exclusive Ai Bag, one of the label's signature pieces. According to an Akris statement, the tote bag is only available in the Cannes boutique within Europe.
Kriemler has been spearheading fashion design at Akris for over 30 years. His grandmother Alice Kriemler-Schoch founded the company in St.Gallen in 1922. Albert and his brother Peter Kriemler, head of production and management, have gone on to establish Akris as a high-end fashion house for women.
Akris has boutiques in Milan, Paris, Monte Carlo, Vienna and London, as well as countless other European cities. The company is also present in Shanghai, Tokyo, New York and other American cities. Princess Charlene of Monaco is among the fashion house’s prominent supporters.
