HSR holds conference on digitalization
Rapperswil-Jona SG - The University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil (HSR) is organizing a conference on the subject of digitalization in industry at the beginning of September. Numerous speakers will be giving practical examples.
The conference on digitalization in industry will be held on 4 September between 9.00 am and 6.00 pm, as stated in an announcement by HSR. Well-known companies, regional forerunners and recognized technology experts will then come into the St.GallenBodenseeArea, as HSR adds in a message on LinkedIn. They will inform attendees about their own experiences and contribute to the practice-based conference. Therefore, the idea is to not only present a comprehensive picture of the initiatives on digital transformation in Switzerland, but also to provide an overview of research projects.
The speakers will include Stefan Jäggi and Willy Glarner from Federtechnik Kaltbrunn AG, Rupert Mayenberger from Spühl GmbH, Wittenbach SG, and representatives of companies such as Siemens, SBB or Migros. The main topics will include familiarization with digital ecosystems, learning through digitalization projects and understanding technological connections. The event will be hosted by DigitalLab@HSR and supported by digitalswitzerland, Industrie 2025 and interreg Alpenrhein/Bodensee/Hochrhein.
