Startup to launch on global market with healthy food
Wald AR/St.Gallen – Swiss Health & Nutrition AG develops healthy food that is made in Switzerland. It is also researching innovative compostable packaging. The company from Eastern Switzerland now plans to launch on the global market.
Swiss Health & Nutrition AG develops healthy food using high-quality ingredients, with no artificial preservatives or ingredients. Everything is manufactured in Switzerland. The company’s founder and CEO said that its production involves as few processing steps as possible, so as to “preserve and retain the nutrients”.
With offices in Wald AR and St.Gallen, the company now plans to sell its products on the world market as well. The sales launch under the brand BE THE CHANGE took place on 12 September, a press release reported. Ten years of the Zurich Forum for Applied Sport Sciences (ZFASS) was celebrated on the same day at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH), where Swiss Health & Nutrition is a sub-patron.
Swiss Health & Nutrition is also conducting research into new sustainable food sources together with partners in innovation networks. Their aim is to find healthy and sustainable sources of protein, for example. What’s more, Swiss Health & Nutrition is developing “compostable food-safe packaging”.
“My vision is to raise greater awareness about the importance of a healthy and sustainable diet and show our industry that quality and sustainability can go hand in hand successfully,” explained Altorfer.
