People’s joins with tour operators

Altenrhein SG - People’s Air Group is offering vacations from St.Gallen-Altenrhein Airport this year as well. To do so, it is working with two tour operators.

People’s Air Group will start this year’s vacation flights with its airline, People’s, on July 17th. From then on, a number of tourist destinations will be served by flights from St.Gallen-Altenrhein Airport, which is operated by People’s Air Group. According to a press release, People’s Air Group is also working with Rhomberg Reisen and High Life Reisen, two tour operators based in Austria. Thomas Krutzler, CEO of People’s Air Group, is quoted in the press release, saying: “As an airport operator and airline, we are of course supporting our partners, particularly as we have been collaborating closely for a long time and now hope to further develop this.”

This means that travel will be offered to nine destinations: Sardinia, Mallorca, Corsica, Menorca, Lefkada, Cephalonia, Croatia, Epirus, and Calabria. Stefan Müller, CEO of Rhomberg Reisen from Dornbirn, states: “These are niche destinations away from the crowds, surrounded by nature, so there is less disturbance from the required or recommended hygiene measures.” Michael Nachbaur, CEO of High Life Reisen from Götzis, adds: “We have inspected the vacation homes we offer, and we have long, trusting relationships with the accommodation owners.”

The vacations aim to be as convenient as possible even from takeoff. For instance, parking at St.Gallen-Altenrhein Airport is free for airline passengers. Additionally, check-in times are limited to 90 minutes.
