St.Gallen – Leader has presented the LEADER Digital Awards. The Eastern Swiss economic portal chose to honor Geobrugg, 1Lims, the cantonal police of St.Gallen, Online Consulting AG and Kantonsschule Romanshorn for their contributions to the digital transformation.

The Eastern Swiss business magazine and portal Leader has once again selected the “most impressive digital projects in Eastern Switzerland” this year, as the publisher MetroComm based in St.Gallen reported. In total, four awards were presented in the categories of Business, Startups, Organisation and Audience Award.

Geobrugg was selected as the winner in the Business category. The provider of safety technology from Romanshorn, Thurgau, has developed a sensor-based system Geobrugg Guard for remote status monitoring of infrastructures and the environment. In the Startup category, the award was bestowed on 1Lims from Märstetten, Thurgau. The jury was impressed by the startup’s fully integrated quality assurance software for the management of laboratory data.

The cantonal police of St.Gallen and Online Consulting AG from Wil in St.Gallen shared the award in the Organisation category. According to the press release, they collaborated with other emergency response services to develop a digital status app. This offers a visual representation of all current deployment information to police patrols in real time. Finally, the Audience Award of the LEADER Digital Awards went to Kantonsschule Romanshorn. The cantonal school offers the support program Matura Talenta Informatik (IT high school talent program) to prepare pupils for a university degree in IT. jh
