Gossau - Start-up ofinto will sell its office furniture range exclusively online in future. The company hopes this move will enable it to save costs while retaining a high level of service.
ofinto, an online retailer of “ergonomic, high-quality office furniture” based in the canton of St.Gallen, is the first company of its type to offer its entire range online, according to a press release. By introducing a fully digital offering, the company hopes to be more affordable than its competitors while retaining a high level of service. ofinto offers ergonomic office chairs, desks and accessories produced at its own facilities and by a select group of comparable manufacturers. By establishing direct sales and a streamlined structure with no trading outlets, the company will be able to offer its products at low prices.
“We are able to offer our premium furniture at significantly lower prices than comparable high-quality manufacturers,” says Christian Stiefel, co-founder of ofinto. “We’re making office furniture shopping an easy, intuitive and modern customer experience,” adds co-founder Jonas Romer.
ofinto’s furniture has been recognized with multiple awards and certifications. Its office chairs and a height-adjustable desk won the IGR Ergonomics Innovation Award 2023, while its textile covers are OEKO-TEX-certified and its wooden furniture is made from FSC-certified timber. ce/ww
