Competition launched for startups from Rheintal

Buchs SG – On Thursday, NTB University of Applied Sciences Buchs is hosting an introductory event for the Businessplan Wettbewerb Liechtenstein Rheintal competition. It supports startups in the development of a business plan.

Another introductory event for the Businessplan Wettbewerb Liechtenstein Rheintal already took place at the University of Liechtenstein on Tuesday. With this event at the NTB in Buchs, the competition is officially kicking off for the 14th time. As reported in a press release, startups are once again being offered the opportunity to receive support in creating their business plans and a second opinion on their ideas. Registration allows those who are interested to attend various seminars free of charge. The first seminar will take place on 24 March, with further ones scheduled for April and May.

After, participants then have until 28 May to submit their business plans. Eight finalists will be selected and invited to present their idea to a jury of six at a Pitch Day in June. The official award ceremony for the three best business ideas will take place in Schaan on 26 June.

This competition has become a firm fixture on the calendar for startups in the region, the release reported. Its theme this year is “promote entrepreneurial spirit and shape the future”. The aim is to offer interested startups and people with a vision an insight into methods and tools for developing their ideas, implementation and innovation, all the way to creating a viable business model.
