U.S. company puts faith in Zünd

Altstätten SG – The American printing firm NGS Printing is expanding its capacity and has purchased its second Zünd cutting machine. Based near Chicago, the company sees unique advantages in the St.Gallen-located producer.

NGS Printing purchased a Zünd D3 cutting machine in 2016, explained Zünd in a statement. The American company produces high quality display graphics and retail signage using a variety of materials.

Last year, NGS Printing became the first U.S. company to deploy a Zünd cutting system with two operating heads for use in sign and display products. Now, it is expanding its production capacity and has purchased a second D3 cutter.

“With Zünd, we have opted for investing in our second D3 which continues to be the most productive digital finishing system in the world and will help us stay ahead of the curve,” commented Owen Scheppman, vice president of NGS Printing, in the statement.

COO Erik Landrowski added: “NGS tries to be on the bleeding edge of innovative technologies, and Zünd has proven to be the one company thinking outside the box to achieve more output and strive for 100% efficiency.”

The high-precision D3 cutting machine developed by the company from the St.GallenBodenseeArea has two operating heads and can therefore double production capacity. Each head can be fitted with up to three different tools.
