St.Gallen startup offers regional adventures

St.Gallen – As of Friday, the startup LocalBini is offering St.Gallen adventures, which are arranged and provided by residents of St.Gallen. The service is supported by St.Gallen-Bodensee Tourism and is aimed at locals and tourists alike.

St.Gallen citizens are offering special experiences on LocalBini, ranging from a vegan picnic and yoga classes, to magic lessons, Filipino cooking classes and even a sailing tour on Lake Constance or a discussion on globalization.

Founded in 2015, the startup provides similar adventures in other cities, such as Zurich, Geneva, Paris and Rome. St.Gallen-Bodensee Tourism (SGBT) is supporting the startup to present the diversity of the region to locals and tourists alike.

“In today’s world, unique and authentic experiences are an important travelling incentive. The collaboration with LocalBini opens up new possibilities for us to create such experiences for our guests,” said Tobias Treichler, vice director and head of marketing and communication at St.Gallen-Bodensee Tourism.

Adventurers can book the experiences themselves on the LocalBini website or on an app. Anyone interested in providing an experience can offer it on the platform and set a price.
