SGBA company among the winners at prestigious Sino-Swiss Business Awards for SME

IQAir, a well-known company from Goldach in the St.GallenBodenseeArea (SGBA), has been honored with the Outstanding Achievement Award for Small and Medium Enterprises at the 3rd Sino-Swiss Business Awards 2017. The awards ceremony was held on May 12th 2017 in Beijing, China; Swiss Federal President Doris Leuthard was among the attendants.

IQAir AG is the global market leader for air purification technologies. At the Sino-Swiss Business Awards, celebrated in the Rosewood Congress Center in Beijing, the international company from the SGBA prevailed against a record number of competitors in the category Outstanding Achievement Award for Small and Medium Enterprises. CEO Frank Hammes didn’t conceal his pride when he accepted the award given to him by the Swiss Ambassador to China, Jean-Jacques de Dardel. IQAir was selected as the winning contestant for consistently high achievements, the global leader position of its products, and for its outstanding commitment and contribution to Swiss-Chinese trade and business relations.

Founded in 1963, IQAir develops, produces and distributes mobile and integrated whole-house air purifiers against fine dust, allergens, asthma triggers, viruses, bacteria and other air pollutants. One main focus of the company is on the protection of residential and working spaces from urban air pollution. In China, IQAir is already present in 14 major cities and with 200 employees mainly working in distribution and services; IQAir’s global workforce is currently around 400 employees strong.
