Militzer & Münch expands in Germany

St.Gallen – The logistics company Militzer & Münch has opened a new branch in Germany, expanding its network in the country to 16 locations.

The new branch office is in Sprockhövel in North Rhine-Westphalia, as was reported in a press release from Militzer & Münch. This location near Wuppertal will enable the company from the St.GallenBodenseeArea to offer improved logistics services to customers in the Ruhr Area. With the network in Germany now comprising 16 locations, Militzer & Münch can cover all major logistics regions in the country.

The new team in Germany can already boast a new major contract: supplying stores in Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia for an internationally operating DIY chain. The team at Sprockhövel organises the entire supply chain, from pick-up to delivery.

Militzer & Münch plans to continue its course of growth this year and is focussing on the further development of traffics on the Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Turkey and Russia trade lanes. “In the air and sea freight segment as well as in road transports we are registering above-average increases,” comments Dr Lothar Thoma, CEO of M&M Militzer & Münch International Holding AG.  “We owe this mainly to the high demand for transports to the Maghreb states and along the New Silk Road.”
