Hulbee simplifies enterprise search
Egnach TG – Software provider Hulbee from eastern Switzerland is launching a new solution that enables companies to search through their data more quickly. Swisscom is supporting the company in its work.
While searching online has improved enormously in recent years, time appears to have virtually stood still when it comes to internal searches on a company’s intranet. Employees spend up to a fifth of their time searching for internal information, Swisscom reports in a press release. This problem is only escalated through the ever-growing volumes of data being handled in a company. According to Swisscom, the amount of available data in a company doubles every two years.
Software company Hulbee from the St.GallenBodenseeArea has now launched a solution to solve this problem. Searching with Enterprise Search will make it easier to find the relevant information, regardless of where it is stored in the company. Enterprise Search is a flexible and scalable solution, which can be used on the company’s website and external online shop in addition to internal use. The solution speeds up the overall search process and all information can be automatically summarised, as required.
Swisscom has teamed up with Hulbee to support sales and implementation. Customers can choose whether Enterprise Search is a hosted service in Swisscom data centres or an on-premise service on their own servers. The telecommunication company has identified great potential for Hulbee’s solution. To date, there are only few comparable solutions on the market. One featuring similar search technology is Google Search Appliance, but this product is going to be taken off the market this year.
Before now, Hulbee has above all been known for its data-safe search engine Swisscows.
