Hoegger AG being acquired by Provisur Technologies
Flawil SG – Machine manufacturer Hoegger AG has been acquired by Provisur Technologies from the USA. While nothing will change for its customers, the company hopes this will strengthen its position as a solution provider for the food industry.
Provisur Technologies is a “a leading global provider of industrial food processing equipment and integrated line solutions for meat, fish and other food products”, it was reported by Hoegger AG in a press release. The company from the St.GallenBodenseeArea manufactures stand-alone components for machine and process engineering in the food industry. It also advises customers on applications, product and process development.
Stefan Koller, CEO of Hoegger AG, explained in a press release from Provisur Technologies that he believes the combined capabilities of the two companies will be the catalyst for continued product and technology development. In its press release, Hoegger outlines that it will not only strengthen its “position in the form pressing, slicing and portioning markets”, but also complement its existing separation business and expand its “cook & chill activities with frying and baking technologies”.
However, customers will not see any change in their day-to-day contact with Hoegger AG. The management responsibility and contact persons will remain the same.
