Flumroc is a ‘darling’ among architects
Flums SG – Building insulation provider Flumroc won several awards at the Architect’s Darling Swiss Edition 2018. Flumroc products were found to be the favourite among architects in three categories.
Flumroc won gold awards at the Architect’s Darling Swiss Edition 2018 in three categories: façade, fire protection and sustainability. Gold, silver and bronze awards were handed out in 20 different categories, and this year 82 construction product manufacturers were up for selection between September 2017 and January 2018.
The independent survey of architects was carried out by the information platform for construction products, architectural projects and expert profiles, Schweizer Baudokumentation, on the basis of more than 400 completed questionnaires. The award recognizes the market efforts of companies.
Flumroc manufactures its stone wool products out of a special rock mixture. These are non-flammable and can withstand temperatures of up to 1,000 degrees Celsius – which is quickly reached when a house fire breaks out.
