Feldschlösschen works with Metrohm
Herisau AR – The precision instruments manufacturer Metrohm has developed a quality control system for the Feldschlösschen brewery. The system unites different analysis tools on one platform.
Feldschlösschen’s quality control department previously used different analysers for quality checking its beer products. Thanks to Metrohm’s new system, this fragmented analysis has now been bettered, announced the precision instruments manufacturer from the St.GallenBodenseeArea in a statement.
The new system was built as a modular platform and can perform all necessary stages of analysis. Metrohm and Feldschlösschen worked together closely on its development.
The companies found a solution by integrating titration, ion chromatography and near-infrared spectroscopy into a single, modular system. The system is controlled by Metrohm’s tiamo software.
A further advantage of the system is its ease of use. Everyone can operate the system, according to Jules Wyss, who is responsible for beer quality control at Feldschlösschen.
“Everyone loves tiamo, because this software is so easy to use. It took my staff only minutes to become familiar with it,” he commented in the statement. He added that Metrohm was the only company capable of developing such a facility.
