Bühler joins IT St.Gallen rockt

St.Gallen – IT St.Gallen rockt, the IT cluster from Eastern Switzerland, is growing. Its latest member is the industrial company Bühler.

IT St.Gallen rockt (ITSG) already comprises 77 companies, 16 educational institutes and 24 network partners, according to inside-it. The St.Galler Kantonalbank (SGKB) joined the cluster last week, and now Bühler, the industrial company from Uzwil in the canton of St.Gallen, has become the latest member.

Around 2,000 IT companies with a total of 20,000 employees are active in the St.GallenBodenseeArea, reported ITSG. This makes the economic region one of the most attractive in Switzerland for the sector.

The cluster is a collaboration among companies, educational institutes, network partners and public authorities from the St.GallenBodenseeArea. Its goal is to strengthen education and further education provision in the IT sector.
