Bühler to build Innovation Campus in the SGBA

Bühler, a global technology company providing food and mobility solutions, has announced plans for a major, cutting-edge innovation campus. According to information provided by the company, the innovation center aims at concentrating and taking all innovation activities «to a new level». The campus will integrate Bühler’s existing and already extensive initiatives in research and development within a single, new and intriguing building. Its main focus area is the sustainable upgrading and innovation of technologies in an inter-connected center for collaboration. Bühler intends to invite different partners to join the cooperation in the new innovation campus: Companies, customers, suppliers and scientists get the opportunity to put a collaborative Open Innovation effort into new developments. Bühler will make an investment of 50 million Swiss Francs. Construction work is scheduled to begin this fall, the inauguration of the Innovation Campus is planned for early 2019.
