Adcubum wins major Helvetia contract

St.Gallen – Adcubum, a St.Gallen IT company that specializes in solutions for insurers, is implementing a major project for Helvetia. The contract covers an integrated IT solution in the non-life sector.

Helvetia is implementing Adcubum’s Syrius solution in its non-life sector, announced inside-it. Because Swiss insurers only advertise bids for integrated IT solutions every three to four years, the IT project will be “major”.

Commenting in inside-it’s article, Jonas Grossniklaus, Senior Manager Corporate Communications for Helvetia, said the insurer was focusing on modernising the “existing IT system landscape for the non-life market sector”, with the aim of creating the foundations to drive digitalization and automation.

Adcubum, which is headquartered in St.Gallen and describes itself as a market leader in sickness and accident insurance, has been providing Syrius as a standard software since 1997. With the solution, it has now won through over the American provider Guidewire. “In the end, the decision was based on the anticipated partnership with Adcubum thanks to its cultural and physical proximity to Helvetia,” added Grossniklaus.

Syrius will now be introduced in stages over several years. For Adcubum, winning the contract is a “major success”, writes the article.
