Congress focuses on digitalization and health

St.Gallen – The University of Applied Sciences FHS St.Gallen is hosting a congress dedicated to digitalization and health. In November, experts from Switzerland and the German-speaking world will gather in Islikon in the canton of Thurgau.

The “Fachkongress Digitalisierung und Gesundheit” will take place on November 7 in the Greuterhof in Islikon and is being hosted by the Institute for Information and Process Management at the University of Applied Sciences St.Gallen (FHS). It will open with two keynote speeches, followed by four workshops, the findings of which will be compiled into a report and published.  

For the keynote speeches, the hosts have secured Christiane Brockes, CEO of Alcare AG, and Ramin Khatami, head of sleep medicine at Klinik Barmelweid. Experts in the field will also participate in the workshops and contribute their expertise to discussions on the following topics: digitalization and robotics in care; behavioral change prevention and support for long-term health; anonymized public health data; and artificial intelligence – the doctor of the future?

The event, which is being hosted in partnership with the Think Tank Thurgau (TTT), runs from 8.30am to 5pm on November 7. There is no entry fee, but registration online is required.
