Helvetia offers app for transport insurance
St.Gallen - Helvetia Insurance is offering its customers an app for transport insurance. It should allow comprehensive insurance policies to be agreed on the spot in less than two minutes.
Using a simple app, Helvetia allows logistics and freight companies to take out comprehensive transport insurance policies for their customers in less than two minutes. This user-friendly online solution has been developed in close collaboration with existing customers, according to a press release issued by the insurance firm.
The app has been christened PuMarSpeed and displays the insurance premiums during the data collection process data. In this way, customers immediately gain an overview of all costs and services. A simple click is all that is needed for the insurance certificate to be issued right away. Moreover, the app provides a data interface to the systems of logistics and freight companies.
PuMarSpeed was developed in conjunction with “a world-leading Swiss freight and logistics company” in addition to Willis Towers Watson AG, a global risk management, insurance broker and consultancy firm headquartered in Dublin, Republic of Ireland.
