Eastern Swiss companies to present innovations
Uzwil SG – The economic portal WirtschaftsPortalOst plans to give regional companies the opportunity to showcase their innovations and attract skilled professionals. To this end, the company is hosting the WPO Impuls event, which will take place on 12 November on the Bühler campus in Uzwil.
Founded by municipalities and companies in the cantons of St.Gallen and Thurgau, the objective of the portal WirtschaftsPortalOst (WPO) is to better promote the Wil region as a business location. This year, the company is organizing the event WPO Impuls for the first time. Specifically, eight companies from the region will present their innovations and introduce themselves to young talent at the CUBIC Innovation Campus of Bühler AG in Uzwil on 12 November.
Cleanfix from Uzwil, for example, will be showcasing its fully autonomous industrial cleaning robot. Hawle Armaturen from Sirnach TG will be bringing a smart hydrant to the WPO Impuls, while the Schreinerei Fust joinery in Wil is presenting its business model for creating custom made furniture at online prices in just five days.
Interested professionals can still apply to take part in the WPO Impuls by emailing before 22 October. The event will begin with a talk by Alexandra Cloots on the subject of new working practices. After, companies will have the chance to introduce their innovation to the young talent in attendance. These in turn will choose the best innovation out of those presented.
