Hostpoint to continue its success story

Rapperswil-Jona SG – Web hosting provider Hostpoint considers itself to be in a perfect position for the future with its new offices in Rapperswil. Last year, the company cracked the revenue mark of 20 million Swiss francs.

Hostpoint moved into a new, much larger office in the heart of Rapperswil last year, it was reported in a press release. Describing itself as “the largest Swiss web hosting provider”, the company says it now has a “new, much larger office” from where it intends to write the next chapter in its success story. Its 60 current employees are now benefiting from ultra-modern workspaces as well as meeting and project rooms and an on-site cafeteria. Hostpoint is also “still on the lookout for motivated new hires”.

After sales of 18 million francs in the previous year, Hostpoint achieved a revenue improvement of 12 percent in 2018 and consequently cracked the mark of 20 million francs. The number of managed domains was also up 12 percent year on year to 560,000. This growth inspired the move to the new offices.

"Our long-term development and prospects make me very confident about the future. As an owner-operated Swiss company, our Swissness will continue to score points on the market,” says Hostpoint CEO Markus Gebert. The company from the St.GallenBodenseeArea also “plans to launch more new products in 2019 to further consolidate its role as a top innovator and market leader”.
