Hostpoint bears new quality label

Rapperswil-Jona SG – The IT service company Hostpoint is one of the first Swiss hosting providers entitled to bear the “swiss hosting” quality label. This label is a testament to the Swiss values and quality of the sector.

The new quality seal “swiss hosting” is issued by the organization swiss made software. It has been awarding Swiss software providers its eponymous quality label since 2007, as was reported in a press release by Hostpoint. After initially introducing the additional label “hosted in Switzerland” at the end of 2018, swiss made software has now launched “swiss hosting” as an independent label for the domestic hosting sector. Hostpoint is one of the first Swiss hosting providers entitled to bear the quality label, as the press release from the company in the St.GallenBodenseeArea highlights.

To bear the new label, hosting providers must be fully Swiss-owned and have their registered office in Switzerland. In addition, the hosting services must store all their data in data processing centers in Switzerland. “The aim is to make it clear to private and business customers that their data will not leave Switzerland,“ writes Hostpoint. All its employees work at the Rapperswil-Jona site. For the company, “Switzerland as a location has always been an extremely important factor in data security and service quality”. Hostpoint has also earned the trademark-protected SWISS LABEL, which “qualifies and represents Swiss products and services within Switzerland and abroad”.
