GuestReady secures growth on the back of takeover

Trogen AR – The start-up GuestReady has taken over the Portuguese firm The Porto Concierge. This acquisition will see the broker of short-term rentals return to the growth path.

GuestReady is back on the growth path, according to an article published on the website startupticker.ch. The start-up based in the St.GallenBodenseeArea focused on implementing further technical developments last year. It is now set to complete a takeover of The Porto Concierge, Portugal’s largest Airbnb management company. GuestReady will now be managing a portfolio of 2,800 properties across 20 cities and has therefore taken a step closer to its goal of managing 10,000 properties in total by 2023.

GuestReady is taking on the full workforce of The Porto Concierge. Alexander Limpert, CEO of GuestReady, is quoted in the article: “This acquisition is truly about growth, not cost savings. The Porto Concierge has built a brilliant team over the years, and we’re excited to all be working together from this point forward”.

The European market for short-term property rentals is highly fragmented. GuestReady has set its sights on consolidating the market and intends to complete further takeovers and agree partnerships to achieve this. At the moment, the start-up founded back in 2016 employs more than 100 members of staff, although plans are in place to increase staff levels moving forwards.
