Bauwerk Boen awarded “Preis der Rheintaler Wirtschaft”

St.Margrethen SG – The Bauwerk Boen Group has been honored with the “Preis der Rheintaler Wirtschaft” business award. The parquet manufacturer intends to further grow at its original site in the Rhine Valley.

The Bauwerk Boen Group has been honored with the “Preis der Rheintaler Wirtschaft 2020” business award. The company impressed the jury with its performance, dedication and successes, it was reported in a press release. With sales of 292 million Swiss francs and around 1,700 employees, the Group is Europe’s leading parquet flooring company.

The Bauwerk Boen Group was founded in 2013 through the merger of Bauwerk Parkett AG and Norway’s Boen AS. Its headquarters are located in St. Margrethen, where the original Bauwerk Parkett AG was based.

Winning this award will reportedly be celebrated twice: the headquarters will host an award ceremony in November and the public award presentation by Rheintaler Wirtschaftsforum will follow on 17 January 2020.

“This award is also recognition for all our employees and the Rhine Valley as a business location, somewhere we feel at home and where we intend to continue our growth,” commented CEO Klaus Brammertz. As an article in the St.Galler Tagblatts newspaper revealed, the company has plans to expand soon. According to an invitation to a press conference sent out by the company, the headquarters will be extended and upgraded.

The “Preis der Rheintaler Wirtschaft” award is bestowed by the employer association AGV Rheintal, the St. Gallen Rhine Valley Association and the Rhine Valley Business Forum.
