Artificial intelligence applied to expenses reporting

Appenzell – Swiss21.AbaNinja software is the first in Switzerland to apply artificial intelligence in its bookkeeping. The new solution is able to recognize receipts and reconciles transactions semi-automatically.

Swiss21.org AG is the first software developer in Switzerland to apply artificial intelligence in bookkeeping, expenses reporting and document management. Its product is based on DeepO technology, as the Appenzell developer of free office software for small and medium-sized companies explained in a press release. This artificial intelligence was developed by DeepCloud AG in close collaboration with Abacus Research AG, both from Wittenbach, and so also based in the St.GallenBodenseeArea like Swiss21.org.

DeepO recognizes, analyses and processes receipts with a high degree of accuracy and in real time, reconciling transactions semi-automatically. “Artificial intelligence in Swiss21.AbaNinja handles repetitive administrative tasks for users and makes processes in Swiss21 even more efficient,” commented Walter Regli, CEO of Swiss21.org.

The software developer has been providing startups and small and medium-sized companies with a free overall solution for office administration since 2018. The features of the software package include automated accounting with bank connections, time and service recording as well as various payment solutions.
