Arbonia is driving on digitisation

Arbon TG - The building supplier Arbonia has acquired a stake in the German company KIWI.KI, which has developed a digital entry system.

As revealed in a press release, Arbonia has acquired a minority stake in the PropTech company. KIWI.KI has developed the digital access system KIWI, enabling housing providers to digitise their key management. Since the system is invisible externally, this means that access rights can be managed online and keys no longer have to be handed over to tenants in person.

According to the press release, Arbonia, based in the St.GallenBodenseeArea, wants to “take another important step in digitisation” by acquiring the minority share in KIWI.KI GmbH. This week it is presenting the “Smart DOOR”, a “fully integrated digital access solution for apartment entrance doors”, with KIWI.KI at the BAU 2019 in Munich. The fair will run until Saturday. In the future, Arbonia will be offering the product portfolio of its PRÜM, GARANT and RWD Schlatter brands as “SmartDOOR” versions.
