Lokalhelden.ch passes 10 million mark
St.Gallen - Raiffeisen’s free crowdfunding platform is a success. More than 10 million Swiss francs have already been pledged for 450 local projects via lokalhelden.ch.
For three years Raiffeisen has been providing a platform for crowdfunding projects with lokalhelden.ch. According to a press release, more than 10 million Swiss francs have already been donated to 450 local projects. The projects are very varied. For example, projects in the areas of sport, culture, sustainability and youth and location development have been realized. In addition to cash, time and materials can also be donated via lokalhelden.ch.
Lokalhelden.ch is not a profit-based business for Raiffeisen. Initiators and supporters are not charged any fees and donations are used solely to benefit the projects. Raiffeisen calls the platform a “local initiative” by the bank.
