RhySearch: 11 Million Swiss Francs for R&D center upgrade in the SGBA

Situated in the St.GallenBodenseeArea (SGBA) in Eastern Switzerland, the Rhine Valley is one of Switzerland’s most important high-tech manufacturing areas. Many of its local companies are global market leaders in their technological niche respectively. In this context, the Rhine Valley research and innovation lab „RhySearch“ is a perfect addition to a local high-tech research scene that is already covering everything from the development of innovative ideas to marketable products.

Recently RhySearch received some very good news: By means of a CHF 11 million investment, RhySearch has been enabled to upgrade its infrastructure for optical coating and precision manufacturing lines. The canton St.Gallen and the principality of Liechtenstein are the official sponsors of the RhySearch upgrade.

RhySearch is a collaboration partner of the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Sciences and Technology (Empa), of the Technology Transfer Center Inspire, of NTB Academy of Applied Sciences Buchs and the University of Liechtenstein. RhySearch is actively committed to the creation of attractive jobs in research and development for engineers and technicians at various levels of specialization in the SGBA.
